Philosophy

Pastoral Care:

Salesian College Rupertswood considers Pastoral Care fundamental to every aspect of our interactions with students. It forms part of the holistic approach to student-teacher relationships that models the work of St John Bosco.

Pastoral Care at Salesian College, Rupertswood aims to:

• Provide care and support for our students through the College's multi-age Student Homegroups;
• Encourage student to act as mentors for each other;
• Increase students' social repertoire by broadening the range of social contact;
• Foster connectedness to the whole school community;
• Provide proactive measures to support mental health and resilience;
• Increase students' sense of responsibility for others in the school community.
